What we specialize in:
In-Game Animation
Game Trailers
Film & TV

Staffed with industry veterans with several decades of combined experience working at the top studios in the world on the greatest games and blockbuster films of all time, combined with our nimble overseas talent, our team at Future House Studios knows how to produce incredible characters.

Here are a few examples of our work:

Niantic's Peridot In-Game Animation

Future House Studios was the primary co-development studio on Peridot, an Augmented Reality mobile game from the makers of Pokemon Go.

Our team of animators lovingly crafted several hundred animation cycles.

In addition, our riggers, modelers, vfx artists and tech artists worked side-by-side with the Niantic crew to create the overall look and design of the game.

Partners: Niantic
Project Duration: 2.5 years
Team Size: 8+

Transformers: Decepticon Invasion
In-Game Animation

Take Transformers: Decepticon Invasion, for example. Our team animated over 45 characters for this location-based virtual reality attraction for  Dave & Buster’s arcades across the United States.

Future House did the heavy lifting to conceptualize the experience from the initial creative phase, including prototyping the virtual reality integration with the ride experience, designed the look and aesthetics of the ride, assisted in drafting the script and initial pitch, drew the storyboards,  designed the concept art for characters, gray-boxed the levels, timed out the animation sequences with the ride motion, developed over 45 unique  Autobot and Decepticon assets, modeled, textured, look developed, rigged, and animated the characters and integrated them into the game. We also assisted with managing outsource teams, tech art and engineering.

Partners: Dark Slope, VRStudios, Dave & Busters.
Project Duration: 12+ months
Team Size: 22+
Software Used: Unreal Engine, Maya, Substance, Zbrush, Perforce

Looney Tunes: Wacky World
of Sports Game Trailer

As lifelong fans, we animated characters, rigged and modeled assets and environments to create the opening cinematic. Then we storyboarded, captured in-game footage, and edited the final trailer.

It was our goal to inject the zany humor and charm of the original Looney Tunes cartoons into each frame of animation. Our rigging team crafted advanced setups for cartoony movements, with dynamic details like hair, whiskers, tails, and ears. Animators brought Bugs, Daffy, and friends to life with precise lip-sync, environmental interactions, and lively VFX, with playful lighting and seamless compositing to add the perfect finishing touch.

For Looney Tunes, our team consisted of animators, modelers, character riggers, character artists, environment artists, tech artists,  story artists, editors, and production support staff.

Partners: Game Mill
Project Duration: 6+ months
Team Size: 4+

Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter Game Trailer

Our team created the concept art, designs, final assets, rigs, animation, motion graphics and particle FX for the Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Teaser.

We started by going over the client’s creative brief, then drafting storyboards and iterating with the client until we had the beats nailed. Then our concept artists drew the dragons according to spec, and made changes at the client’s request. Once we were all ecstatic about the look, moved forward with rigging and animation in Adobe After Effects. Then we added particle FX for fire, smoke, ice, poison and more until we had a polished product. We then worked closely with the client as we edited the final teaser together and met the deadline in a matter of weeks.

Partners: Gearbox

Project Duration: 6 weeks
Software Used: Adobe Photoshop, After Effects

Yo Gabba Gabbaland! VFX

Future House Studios was the primary VFX Studio responsible for the majority of the post-production VFX on Apple TV’s Yo Gabba Gabbaland! The geniuses at DNEG, Monolith, and Dimension built the virtual set and assets in Unreal engine for the virtual production. We sent our crew onto the virtual production set to supervise the shoot for post.

Afterward, the Future House team created nearly 1200 VFX shots, seamlessling blending the Unreal environment and real-world actors with additional post production VFX. We used a full set of skills including: compositing, greenscreen extraction, 2D set extensions, rotoscoping, animation, 3D modeling, environment modeling and development, camera tracking, additional 3D set extensions and environment creation in Unreal Engine, and more.

12 Parts per Million Feature Documentary
